New Holiday BDSM updates

The site 411BDSM has had some major canges since the last time posted. The look has been modified as well as adding icons to the site to help you navigate better.

411BDSM has new groups including categories set up for the UK BDSM, Europe, Australia and South America. Anyone from these countries are welcome to create a group in your region under those categories.

If you are a private group you can start or mantain your private group on 411BDSM. What does this include? Free group management, emails internally to your members, private group where only your members can view, shout box, gallery and forum for your group members to enjoy.

All group leaders get a badge on their profile as a site recognition and a VIP upgrade status. Members must contribute to verify age so we make sure there are no minors on the site. This is absolutely not tolerated.

Terms and Conditions for the site have been upgraded and we continue to revise them as a need occurs.

Board of Directors Needed

411BDSM has grown in the past few months and needs soem other professional guidance and direction. Remember this is a community created for BDSM and ran by the people. Right now 411BDSM is in need of a Board of Directors. If you are interested in being on the Board of Directors, please contact spankey at four11bdsm@yahoo.com . He has been put in charge of organization of this.

Serving on the Board of Directors would include, but not limited to (because rules would have to be agreed upon by everyone)

1. When you are on site, if you see anything wrong or in chat and someone is acting out. Take Charge. If there is a link that’s down, graphics that are not working email or contact Mistress.

2. Working on various projects, such as emailing organizations, clubs around the country and help to grow the sight.

3. We need ideas. Bring to the table at least 3 ideas to grow the site and to further a strong growing BDSM community.

4. Once a month, sooner if needed the BOD will have a chat in a room here. You must be there.

5. Help bring the site alive and contact 3 members a week to just talk, email and find out what they want.

6. Be available and willing to do various assignments, like, gathering information, finding out about other sites and being willing to work with our community.

I look forward to hearing from you! This community needs this to help stay with its growth and desires of people in the lifestyle to have a real lifestyle community such as this.

There seems to be an image alert over the site. Spider bots have replced some of your images with an advertising site saying visit zackandmiri.net This is NOT endorced by 411BDSM.com nor have members put these on their profiles. If your profile has this image, please reupload your image to the site. Server people will be taking care of the image that was somehow put into the site and spread to profiles. Thank you to those who kept a watch out and have reported this. We are working to get this taken care of :)

Warning on Grouply - You are not safe.

There is a new group management software out there called Grouply. There are warnings about using this program to manage your yahoo groups.

If you are a member of a Yahoo group and an organization known as "Grouply" asks that you join, and then you can use their service to better track all your various Yahoo Groups memberships - sorta like an RSS fed.

To join Grouply, you register with them by giving them your Yahoo ID and password. You sign up and you have just given access to your account....and everything and anyone in it.

If you join Grouply, Grouply can go into the archives of each group you belong to and do the following:

Harvest the email addresses from group members. Then anyone who joins , now they ahve access to their user / password and members, email addresses etc.
Load and steal photos.
Load and steal files.
Add links.
Send SPAM in your name to all your groups.
For a moderator of a list, they could conceivably take control of your list and do with it as they will.

How can they do this? You just gave them the information to do so!

Upon research Grouply also allows and opens up gateways to others who (maybe) purchase access to send out spam and other things to all group members. you security (if you want to keep things private) is at risk by joining this program.

If you have already joined they as to un-join this group and immediately go into your yahoo group and change your password.

If you would like to manage a group...or start your own with confidentiality and full reigns of the bdsm lifestyle , you can always manage your own group and make it a private group by signing into your 411BDSM account > Go to Groups > Create a Group > here you will find options to make it public or private. You can even make the group managable by hidden group only and will not show up even to others on the site.

Remember this site is managed by people who are in the lifestyle as well and your security about private information is well respected on this site and on thie online community.
